Car care in Houston weather
How often should I detail my car in Houston? For most daily drivers, a full detail every 4–8 weeks and a wash every 1–2 weeks. Do it more often during spring pollen and the May and September lovebug seasons.
How do I get lovebugs off my car? Soak them first. Use a bug remover or a wet microfiber laid over the spot for a few minutes, then wash gently. Don't scrub dry bugs, which scratches the paint. Remove them within a day or two, because their remains are acidic and can etch clear coat in the heat. A ceramic coating makes this much easier.
Is ceramic coating worth it in Texas? For most drivers, yes. It holds up far longer than wax in Houston heat, blocks UV, and makes bugs, pollen and bird droppings easier to wash off. It doesn't stop rock chips or deep scratches. See ceramic coating.
Mobile detailing vs. car wash: which is better? Automatic washes are quick but use brushes and recycled water that cause swirl marks, and they don't clean the interior. Mobile detailing is a careful hand wash plus a real interior clean, done where your car is parked.

Yes: home driveways, office parking lots and apartment garages. We bring our own water and power.
Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily. Many clients leave the car unlocked or hand us the keys, then come back to a finished car. We'll keep you posted by text.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
We do a walkthrough before we leave. If something isn't right, we fix it on the spot. That's our 100% happy guarantee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take card payments through Stripe. We'll confirm payment details when you book.
How long does a full detail take?
Most full details take 2–4 hours, depending on vehicle size and condition.
