Why EVs need a different approach
Teslas and other EVs have features that tunnel washes handle badly: flush door handles, Autopilot cameras and sensors, large glass roofs and, often, paint protection film. Tesla paint is also known for being on the soft side, so it scratches easily. Brushes and recycled water are a bad combination. We hand wash with clean mitts, keep pressure away from cameras and seals, and use pH-balanced products that won't harm PPF or ceramic coatings.
Inside, we clean screens and piano-black trim with soft, screen-safe products, care for vegan leather and white seats (which stain easily in Houston heat), and detail the frunk and cargo areas.

Charging-port and frunk care
EVs collect dirt in places gas cars don't have. The frunk seals gather pollen and leaves. Charge-port doors get gritty from road spray. On trucks like the Hummer EV and F-150 Lightning, the bed and lower body take a beating. We clean these areas by hand with low pressure and keep water away from the charge port and electronics. Inside, we use cleaners that are safe for screens and wipe touch panels with dedicated microfiber, so they don't streak or scratch.

Is it safe to detail a Tesla with PPF?
Yes. We hand wash with pH-balanced soap, keep pressure washers at a safe distance from film edges, and never use brushes or harsh solvents on PPF.
Do I need to put my Tesla in car wash mode?
It helps. Car Wash Mode closes the charge port and turns off wipers and sensors. We can do it with you when we arrive.
Can you detail my EV in an apartment garage?
Usually, yes. We bring our own water and power, so we don't need building hookups. We just need permission and room to work.
